The 46-year-old actor has had an illustrious career. Tom Hardy has great films under his belt, such as Inception (2010), Batman: The Dark Knight Rises (2012) It is Mad Max: Fury Road (2015). However, the decision to enter a new world of superheroes set the star on a path outside his standard of excellence.

Since Tom Hardy’s debut as Venom, the British actor has been a collection of failures. Sony’s first film in the role of the antihero earned him 30% on Rotten Tomatoes – a site that compiles reviews from critics. The sequel Time for Carnage (2021) added only 57%.
