The horror franchise created by Sam Raimi will get another spin-off film
The horror franchise The Demon’s Death — also known by its original name, Evil Dead — continues to grow. In addition to the new film directed by Sébastien Vaniček, the saga started by Sam Raimi will get a new spin-off feature.
According to information from Deadline, the film will be directed by Francis Galluppi (The Last Stop in Yuma County). The filmmaker will also sign the script for the new production.
Although further details regarding the plot have not been revealed, the project is described as a “original story” which Galluppi presented to Raimi.
Francis Galluppi will be the director and screenwriter of the new Death of the Demon film.
To the deadlineRaimi, the creator of the franchise, praised Galluppi, saying that the director “He is a storyteller who knows when to leave us hanging with latent tension and when to hit us with explosive violence”.
It is worth mentioning that the last film released in the franchise was Death of the Demon: The Risein 2023. The feature film Lee Cronin managed to get a very positive response from the public by bringing back the scary mythology created by Sam Raimi in the 80s.
