Renowned Irish actor Cillian Murphy is back for the new Extermination trilogy, which promises to continue the story that captivated fans of the horror and suspense genre. Murphy, known for his landmark roles in films such as “Oppenheimer” and “Peaky Blinders,” will reprise his starring role in the film series that helped redefine the concept of zombies in cinema.
The original film, released in 2002, was a landmark in the genre, presenting a post-apocalyptic world where civilization was devastated by a virus that turned much of the population into fast, aggressive zombies. Murphy played a man who wakes up in London with no memory of how the world got to this point and struggles to survive amid the chaos.
In addition to starring in the new Deathstroke trilogy, Cillian Murphy also gained prominence by playing Thomas Shelby in the hit series “Peaky Blinders”. Recently, the actor was also recognized for his performance as J. Robert Oppenheimer in Christopher Nolan’s film, in which he was awarded best actor at this year’s Oscars.
