Students covered by the Pé-de-Meia program who have their birthdays in January and February will receive the first installment of the benefit this Tuesday (26). Students receive R$200, referring to the enrollment bonus. The amount is not deducted from the attendance incentive of R$1,800, paid in new installments throughout the year.

Beneficiaries who have a birthday in other months will receive the first installment of benefit in the next few days, depending on the month of birth, following the schedule published by Caixa Econômica Federal. Check out:

  • January and February: March 26
  • March and April: March 27
  • May and June: March 28
  • July and August: April 1st
  • September and October: April 2
  • November and December: April 3

What is Nest Egg

The Pé-de-Meia program is a financial-educational incentive, which comes into effect this year, for students enrolled in public high school. With annual payments of up to R$3,000, at the end of the cycle, each student can receive an amount of up to R$9,200.

With the Nest Egg, the Federal Government will invest R$ 7.1 billion per year, covering more than 2.5 million students.

How to know if you have been selected

Public high school students can check whether they have been included in the Pé-de-Meia program through the Jornada do Estudante app, from the Ministry of Education (MEC). If you benefit from the program, the student will find information on the app such as:

  • Registration installments;
  • Payment calendar;
  • Payday;
  • Installment value.

Those who were not included will also find information about the reason in the application, as well as guidance on how to resolve the situation.
