Rafael Bittencourt makes a beautiful declaration of love to his wife to celebrate 14 years of marriage

Musician Rafael Bittencourt, guitarist and founding member of the Power Metal band, celebrated 14 years of marriage with holistic therapist Vanessa Saad. To celebrate the special date, Rafael posted some photos of the couple on his Instagram profile and wrote a beautiful statement, which can be read below.

“14 years with Vanessa Saad.

When we left for the first time, on March 26, 2010, I already knew that I had gotten into trouble. In the first few minutes, I began to wish that it would never end, an immediate connection.

We already knew each other from the EM&T music school, without much intimacy, although I already desired, silently and intensely, that beautiful and serene woman who illuminated and captivated everything and everyone.

We agreed to go out, theoretically to drown our sorrows from our recently ended marriages, with the unannounced possibility of casual romance. It was much more than that, a catastrophic collision of two intense universes, fireworks, the feeling of not being alone in this world and of wanting to explore much more that being that intrigued me, made me laugh, seduced, enchanted, welcomed and spent hours talking to me in a moment of mutual fragility. Not to mention the sex, which was, and still is, a very crazy trance, more like an acid trip than an erotic movie cliché.

I found myself vulnerable, sick with love, insatiable and dependent on that presence. So one day I confessed and asked for help, I said I was in love and I didn’t want to suffer again. I asked him to take care of me and to be very sincere, because I was afraid of the giant that now occupied my chest, that if it wasn’t reciprocated, he would let me go. She confessed that she felt the same way, I believed her and we agreed to take care of each other.

And so it has been, 14 years of complicity, friendship, care, respect, affection, love and passion.

This relationship is one of the most transformative experiences I’ve ever had – only comparable to parenthood and a career with Angra – invigorating, uplifting, full of learning and maturity. A great privilege to follow, witness and share life with the most incredible woman to walk this earth. No exaggerations. Serious.
