An ex-girlfriend and mother of one of rapper 50 Cent’s children was referred to as a “sex worker” in the lawsuit filed by a music producer against rapper Diddy. The mention of model Daphne Joy in the lawsuit filed by producer Rodney ‘Lil Rod’ Jones could be one of the causes of the rivalry between the two musicians. Over the past few days, amid the various revelations surrounding Jones’ accusations against his former boss, 50 Cent has been celebrating his rival’s problems with the United States justice system on social media.
The 73-page lawsuit filed by Jones against Diddy alleges that he was the target of harassment and abuse over the course of at least a year. He claims that he was the target of “constant and unsolicited touching of the anus” during his time working with the singer. He also says that he was forced to hire prostitutes for the musician and that he has hours of videos documenting Diddy’s “illegal activities” between the years 2022 and 2023, including sex with minors. One of the women he would have hired would be 50 Cent’s ex.
Rodney ‘Lil Rod’ Jones also says in the lawsuit that he was drugged by his former boss in February 2023. He reportedly woke up the next day, shaken and confused, along with his wives and fearing he had been sexually assaulted.
In the lawsuit, Jones says that one of the women Diddy paid for sex was Daphne Joy, 50 Cent’s girlfriend between 2010 and 2013. She said the services provided by the rival rapper’s ex were regular.
With an active and popular account on the on-demand adult content platform OnlyFans, Daphne Joy gave birth to her son with 50 Cent, Sire (11 years old), in 2012. When their relationship came to an end, the model accused her ex of being “physically abusive”. The allegation was denied by the singer.
50 Cent recently celebrated the accusations made against Diddy: “Now it’s not like ‘Diddy could have done it’, Diddy did it, they don’t go public with that kind of stuff unless they had an affair.” He celebrated in another post: “The feds arrived, the kids were all handcuffed.”
Diddy has been denying the various allegations made against him. The allegations made by his former producer that led to the FBI investigations come on top of several other accusations of harassment and abuse against him over the years. In 2019, he closed an abuse case filed by a cook, agreeing to pay an undisclosed amount.
His ex-partner Cassie Ventura also accused him of rape and physical abuse during their time together. In December 2023 he was accused of a rape that occurred in 2003. Then, last February, Jones’ case was opened.
