The Broadcast Communication Group (GCD) from Rio do Sul (SC) announced that, soon, it will have an affiliate of Rede Massa FM, led by Massa FM 92.9 from São Paulo and Massa FM 97.7 from Curitiba (SP). According to information sent to the portal’s editorial team tudoradio.com, The premiere should take place in the first half of this year, however, there was no confirmation of the frequency that will host the popular/country format programming. From what the portal found, there will be adjustments in the organization of the group’s channels to accommodate Massa FM in the region known as Alto Vale.
The GCD stated that the future Massa FM will have regional coverage. The studio is being set up in the central area of Ituporanga (SC). The headquarters, in Rio do Sul, will also have a structure for transmission. According to the group, it is the branch of the new broadcaster with the GCD brand that will generate most of the local programming.
The Broadcast Communication Group also reported that local communicators are already undergoing training. Details of the inauguration and start of operations, frequency on the dial will be announced in the coming days, however, activities are expected to begin in the first half of the year.
The GCD is already promoting the arrival of Massa FM in the region. This Thursday (4), there will be leafleting and publicity with the group’s communicators at the Exhibition Park, which hosts the 2024 edition of the Cebola Festival.
