Cyclist who fell from a bridge took photos in dangerous places; burial is this tuesday

The death of cyclist Kelly Stefani de Oliveira Alves, aged 39, caused a stir on the internet. In addition to being young, mother of a 7-year-old boy and athlete, Kelly also loved adventure tourism.

She was used to doing long bike circuits and liked going to dangerous places, including to take photos. A resident of Rio Claro, Kelly died last Sunday morning (28) after falling off her bike from the so-called “Skeleton Bridge”.

The place is frequented by many cyclists and lovers of extreme sports, such as Bungee Jump.

On her social networks, Kelly had several old records made on the “Skeleton Bridge” itself, in extremely dangerous locations. The bridge, unfinished, has existed for more than 20 years and connects the cities of Limeira and Cordeirópolis.

What happened?

On Sunday, the cyclist was cycling with her husband and a group of friends. While crossing the bridge, she lost her balance and fell approximately 15 meters high. The fall happened along with the bike. Emergency services were called, but she did not survive and died at the scene.

Kelly is from Rio Claro and will be buried this Tuesday (30). Her wake will take place at 10am at Memorial Cidade Jardim and she will be cremated at Memorial Cidade Jardim Crematorium at 2pm.
