Russia launched a new attack on residential areas in Kostiantynivka, Donetsk region. Kremlin accuses the West of “irresponsibility”, after US Defense Secretary stated that NATO will be forced to enter the war if Ukraine is defeated.

The Russian army fired four missiles at Kostiantynivka in the Donetsk region. There were no injuries reported, but several residential buildings and infrastructure were hit.
Vitaliy has lived in the same building for over 70 years. The walls and ceiling of his apartment were damaged, making it impossible for him to live in the apartment because of the cold.
“Can you imagine, all these holes? Everything is destroyed”, laments the Ukrainian.
As the war continues, the heated exchange of words between Moscow and the West continues.
On Thursday, US Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin said NATO will be forced into war with Russia if Ukraine loses.
“We know that if Putin succeeds [na Ucrânia], will not stop. It will continue to take more aggressive actions in the region. And other world leaders, other autocrats, will look at this and be encouraged,” he said.
In response, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov considered this Friday that the US Defense Secretary’s statements were “extremely irresponsible” and could lead “to an escalation of tensions”.
Russian President Vladimir Putin also met this Friday with Russia’s security council to discuss the neutralization of aerial threats that the country may face, reiterating that Moscow has no intention of deploying nuclear weapons in space.
“We have already discussed the falsehoods that some figures in the West have said about our supposed plans to deploy nuclear weapons in space. I say ‘supposed’ because, as I have said and as we well know, we have no such plans,” assured the Russian president.
