One of Xiaomi’s next top of the range will be the Xiaomi 15 Pro. The smartphone is only expected on the market towards the end of 2024, but anticipations are already being made of what its main features will be.
Leaker Digital Chat Station used the social network Weibo to reveal information obtained about the future equipment, according to a prototype of the smartphone. As indicated, this will have a micro-curved 2K resolution screen.
This means we can expect an experience similar to what we have on current models. In other words, screens with a slight curvature on the sides that help improve ergonomics without making them undesirable for those who don’t like curved screens.
At the rear, the cameras will be placed in the upper left corner. The smartphone is expected to have three sensors, with the main 50 MP sensor being accompanied by a 50 MP telephoto and an ultra-angle lens. The main camera will provide greater aperture than the current model.
Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 will be the processor of the Xiaomi 15 Pro
As with previous generations, it will be no surprise to confirm that the smartphone will be driven by Qualcomm’s next top-of-the-range processor, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4. It should even be one of the first smartphones to use it.
It is important to remember that the Xiaomi 14 Pro was not launched on global markets, with only the Xiaomi 14 and the Xiaomi 14 Ultra arriving here. Therefore, it is still unknown whether the Xiaomi 15 Pro will have these honors.
In any case, we must pay attention to what Xiaomi’s next top of the range has in store for us. The launch in China is expected in November, but in global markets you should only expect them around Mobile World Congress 2025.
