Before the game between Manchester City (second placed) and Manchester United, the reds they took action to not let the top of the lead slip away. Even so, the match was highly difficult, as the home team put in a lot of work throughout the 90 minutes.
The opportunities in the first half, in fact, were quite scarce. Some individual moments gave the match new life, but the result at half-time was 0-0, after some lack of inspiration from both teams.
Nuno Espírito Santo messed with the pieces he had on the bench, but it was Jurgen Klopp who had the desired results: in the 60th minute he launched Darwin Nuñez and the Uruguayan, in the final stretch of the game, was essential in winning the three points.
The number nine jumped higher than his opponent (after a precise cross from Alexis Mac Allister) and made the fans of the reds exploded with joy as he found his way to the goal defended by Matz Sels.
