O Sporting continued its preparation work late this Sunday morning with a view to the long-awaited second leg of the Portuguese Cup semi-finals, in which they will face Benfica.
A session in which Rúben Amorim didn’t have much reason to smile, as he was once again without Antonio Adán and Pedro Gonçalves, who continue to recover from injury, meaning that, by all indications, they will miss the Luz derby, Next tuesday.
The green and white squad has another round of training scheduled for Monday morning. Later, from 12:15 pm (Mainland Portugal time), the coach will answer journalists’ questions at a press conference.
Sporting, remember, is at an advantage in this tie, thanks to the triumph they achieved over their eternal rival, at the Alvalade stadium, at the end of last February, by 2-1, thanks to goals scored by Pedro Gonçalves and Viktor Gyokeres.
