Artur Jorge admitted, this Monday, after the victory in Portimão, that it is “very likely” that he played his last game for SC Braga, spending his future at Botafogo.

«The situation is clear. I know there is an agreement between the clubs, there was this negotiation and intention to count on me. There is an agreement between the clubs to be able to speak to me, something we would only do after this game. It was my commitment to play this game and be here today trying to win another game. At this point, with this agreement signed, it will now be analyzed by me. What we talked about also pleases me, so it’s very likely that he played his last game for SC Braga”, he said, speaking to Sport TV’s microphones.

In sporting terms, I think we did almost everything that was possible to do. We are currently fighting for third place. It’s an important milestone. We surpassed historical records, such as goals scored, points, victories. All of this is a great mark that will go down in history. What we did in enhancing players was also very important, it is remembering the departures we had, the way they left and the values for which they left. It was also a great lever for the growth of SC Braga and for what we want. As a Braga native, I am eternally grateful, very pleased to have contributed to its growth and to have been a part that helped SC Braga to grow even more”, he pointed out, praising the club’s structure and António Salvador.
