Last Monday was a celebration for Internazionale. Against AC Milan, Simone Inzaghi’s men once again won Serie A, after a practically immaculate journey: 27 wins, five draws and just one defeat.
One of the great figures turned out to be Marcus ThuramFrench forward who is completing his first season in Italy, after leaving Borussia M’Gladbach, which he represented for four seasons – from 2019 to 2023.
Now, the trophy won by number nine allowed him to join a restricted group of players who won the competition just like their parents. The last time this had happened was with Paolo and Daniele Maldini, for AC Milan.
Before that, Cesare and Paolo Maldini were second on this list, with Valentino and Sandro Mazzola, for Internazionale, opening the count. Like father Like Son. Lilian and Marcus Thuram were the last.
