Through a press conference held last Monday, Ronaldo Nazario announced that he sold 90 percent of his shares in Cruzeiro, emblem where he entered in December 2021.
The former No. 9 jersey, according to information published by the Brazilian press, received more than 100 million euros from Pedro Lourenço, a 68-year-old businessman who owns the BH Supermarkets.
«My objective has always been to rebuild Cruzeiro by putting it in its rightful place. and, at the right time, pass it on to the right person. The right person is you. There is no one who loves this club more than you. Only you can, perhaps, give the speed that the fans want. The executive Ronaldo remains outside this management, but always supports Cruzeiro,” he said.
Furthermore, Ronaldo Nazário announced that Real Valladolid, from Spain, will be next. The Brazilian director explained, briefly, that he will leave the Spanish club as majority shareholder.
