Obsidian announced Tuesday that its annual charity broadcast for Children’s Hospital of Orange County has surpassed its goal of $18,000 in donations. To celebrate, the studio released an as-yet-unlisted teaser of what’s to come in the next Grounded update.
The short teaser shows a bit of Grounded’s 1.1 update, which will aim to “expanding the game’s quality of life features”, according to Obsidian Entertainment. Check out the video just below:
The main changes we’ll see in 1.1 will be additions to a lineup of slots in players’ backpacks to further expand the inventory, more options for customizing and building bases, and some changes frequently suggested by players.
Earlier this month, Matt Booty, head of Xbox Game Studios, revealed that Grounded had reached the 13 million player mark. Version 1.0 of the game ended up arriving in September of this year and we still have no information on when the next update will be available.
