Samsung is expected to launch the Galaxy S24 FE this year and, according to information released this Friday, the device must be sold in a single variant with Exynos chipset all around the world.

The Galaxy S23 FE was launched with the Exynos 2200 and Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipsets in different markets, but it may have been the last to adopt this strategy.

People who work with the Korean manufacturer say that this change should put an end to the strategy of having a differentiated chip for markets like the United States.

Leaker Connor went further and said that Samsung should use Exynos chips in all Galaxy S smartphones in 2025, leaving Snapdragon exclusive to Galaxy Z foldables.

The change being planned by Samsung should also affect the Galaxy A line, which will use Exynos or MediaTek Dimensity/Helio chips.

As for the other specifications of the Galaxy S24 FE, sources say the smartphone will have variants with up to 12 GB of RAM and 128 GB or 256 GB of internal storage. The screen will be a Super AMOLED 2X with 1.5k resolution and a rate of up to 120 Hz.

Most likely, the S24 FE will also feature a 50 MP main camera, a 4,500 mAh battery and support for 25W wired charging.

Finally, the operating system tends to be Android 14, but as Samsung does not comment on the matter, we still do not have a release date for this smartphone.
