Samsung is preparing a new update for the Galaxy S24 Ultra, which should fix a problem with the device’s camera.

The bug began to be reported a few weeks ago, and occurs when zooming with the device. In some situations, the system may not focus correctly on the intended object when zooming is used with the Galaxy S24 Ultra’s telephoto lens.

Additionally, photos captured in this situation may also come out darker than expected. The problems occur between zoom levels 1.6x and 1.9x and 4.6x and 9.9x, with several sources pointing out that this is a software problem – which Samsung hopes to eventually fix.

The company has already confirmed that this is, in fact, a bug with the recent software versions for the device, and that it should be corrected with a new update that the company is preparing.

At the moment, the date on which the update will be provided is still unknown, but device users can pay attention to the device’s OTA system, to be among the first to receive the news.

It is possible that this update will also arrive for the remaining models in the line, although the problem in these models has not been verified – the update should still bring small corrections and improvements to the system in general.
