A Artificial Intelligence (AI) is one of the areas in which Microsoft has invested the most in recent years and, to show that it has no intention of slowing down, the Redmond technology company decided to hire Mustafa Suleyman.

Suleyman, known for being the co-founder of Google’s DeepMind division, will now occupy the position of executive vice president and CEO of a new division at the Redmond technology company – called Microsoft AI – and will report directly to CEO Satya Nadella.

“I will lead all AI consumer and research products, including Copilot, Bing and Edge”explained Suleyman in a post shared on the social network X (formerly Twitter). “It has been an incredible journey and there is so much more on the way. Thank you everyone for your support. Things are just beginning”.
