It seems that Samsung is leaving behind rumors of a possible Watch 7 Pro and betting everything on a new smartwatch called the Galaxy Watch Ultra. According to Android Headlines, although they are not sure whether Samsung will still present the Watch 7 Pro as part of the Watch 7 line, the site states with certainty that Samsung will indeed present an entirely new smartwatch called the Galaxy Watch Ultra.
Details previously emerged about the Galaxy Watch 7 Pro’s battery size, but it could end up being replaced by the Galaxy Watch Ultra, according to new information discovered in a database. Apparently, the new line of smart watches could be made up of: Watch 7, Watch 7 Classic and Watch Ultra.

According to previous rumors, the rumored Galaxy Watch 7 Pro, which had model number EB-BL705ABY, was supposed to come with a larger battery (578mAh). Even though forecasts indicate three new models, it is possible that Samsung will end up skipping the Watch 7 Classic, as it did the same in the Watch 5 series, which would explain the arrival of the supposed Galaxy Watch Ultra.
According to the Android Headlines database, Sasmung has three different model numbers (SM-L705U, SM-L705N and SM-L705F) for the next Galaxy Watch Ultra, which reinforces suspicion about the launch. These model numbers represent the US, Korea and global version. The new Watch Ultra will be officially launched in several regions.
In addition to the new lineup, Samsung is also expected to launch the new Galaxy Watch FE, which will reportedly have similar features to the Galaxy Watch 4 released in 2021. The Galaxy Watch 4 still holds up very well today and it’s great to see Samsung introducing a watch model accessible. Considering that many premium smartwatches cost about the same as a mid-range Android smartphone, it makes sense for companies to introduce an affordable alternative smartwatch.
As previously mentioned in our Galaxy Watch FE article, the Galaxy Watch FE will be available with specific models (SM-R866F, SM-R866U, and SM-R866N) for the US, Korea, and other markets.
We can expect significant differences between the Watch Ultra and Watch FE, although we currently don’t have exact technical specifications for both watches. Samsung could surprise us this year by introducing a highly advanced smartwatch.
The Watch Ultra may feature advanced sensors that allow for more accurate tracking of workout activities, such as providing more accurate data during swimming due to greater durability against water pressure. Additionally, it could provide more accurate GPS tracking. It’s safe to say that the Watch Ultra’s battery life will be significantly better, as Samsung plans to use a much larger battery than ever before in its next smartwatch.
