Google Pixel 8a will be entitled to 7 years of updates

One of the biggest highlights of the published images has to do with the support offered by Google. In this article, the North American company states that it will give 7 years of updates to the Pixel 8a.

This means that Google will offer the same update time as it announced for the Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro. And that ends up making perfect sense, because all models have the Tensor G3 processor.

The processor is another detail confirmed with the release of the images in question. This also means that Pixel 8a users can expect a level of performance similar to that offered by Google’s top of the range.

Both smartphone ranges will also share several Artificial Intelligence features. Functions such as Circle to Search, Magic Eraser or Best Photography will also be available in this more affordable model.

We also learn that the Google Pixel 8a will have a battery with 18 W wired charging. We have no reference to the presence of wireless charging, although several rumors suggest it.

Another confirmed fact is the presence of IP 67 certification. Similar to its predecessor, the Pixel 8a will be resistant to water and dust.

Based on other rumors, we can say that the Pixel 8a will have a 6.1-inch OLED screen with Full-HD+ resolution and 120 Hz refresh rate. It will have 8 GB of RAM and up to 256 GB of internal storage.

In the photographic field, it will arrive with a 64 MP main camera with image stabilization and a 13 MP wide angle. The price is expected to rise again, with some rumors pointing to approximately 700 dollars.
