WhatsApp denies list of 35 cell phones that would lose access to the app in May

WhatsApp did not stop working on some Android and iPhone (iOS) cell phones on May 1st. Last week, several news portals announced that the application would lose its support on 35 devices. The information, however, was denied by the Meta company when TechTudo this Monday (6). According to the company, this list of cell phones that would supposedly be affected is not official. Some of the models mentioned have no longer supported the messenger since October 2023. That month, WhatsApp updated the list of operating systems compatible with the service, the same one that remains in force to date.
