Relatives of the young man killed on Rua Jacarepaguá, in the Interlagos neighborhood, in Cascavel, early this Thursday morning (29), contacted the CGN this evening saying that they recognized the victim from the tattoos released by the Homicide Police Station.
The young man was identified by a family member as 24-year-old Wellinton Camargo. The family is dismayed by the untimely death of the boy who died in the middle of the street after being shot.
The body should be released this Friday morning (1st).
The homicide
The young man was brutally murdered and another boy was injured, both having been surprised by the same shooter. The Municipal Guard believes that the shots came from a burgundy vehicle with dark wheels.
The first man was rescued with two gunshots to the leg. The fatal victim was shot several times and did not survive his injuries, dying at the scene. The two situations would be linked and the men would be together at the time of the attack.
