Two accidents were recorded in the early evening of Wednesday (13) and caused long queues of cars. The first took place on a section of TO-080 and the second, a bridge that connects Palmas to Luzimangues.
According to the Civil Police, on the TO-080, heading from Paraíso to the capital, a cart loaded with grain ran out of accelerator on a steep climb and ended up going backwards.
No vehicle was hit, but the truck stopped across the state highway. Traffic was at a standstill in that direction and shortly before 8pm, only small vehicles were passing through the section.

On the bridge between Palmas and Luzimangues, a car ended up hitting the back of a pickup truck near the highest point of the structure, for those leaving the capital heading towards the Porto Nacional district.
No one was injured, but traffic was hampered. The congestion reached at least four kilometers.
After removing the vehicles, the flow on the bridge was released at around 8:40 pm.
