VIDEO – STRONG IMAGES: Man is murdered with a gunshot to the face just for looking at his neighbor’s house

The weapons culture established in the country by former president Jair Bolsonaro has claimed yet another victim. Bruno Júnior, 33 years old, was murdered with a gunshot to the face simply because he leaned against the wall of his house to see what was happening at his neighbor’s house, from where it was already possible to hear the sounds of gunshots, in the city of Apucarana (PR).

The crime occurred last Saturday (9) and the shooter, Agnaldo da Silva Oroski, aged 41, was arrested on Thursday afternoon (14).

According to the Military Police, witnesses reported that there were sounds of gunfire in the neighboring residence and Bruno decided to check what was happening. He climbed onto a gas cylinder base, leaned against the wall of his house and looked at his neighbor’s land when he was shot in the face. A woman who was at the scene tried to help him but, when rescuers arrived at the scene, Bruno was already dead.

Killer’s arrest

Agnaldo da Silva Oroski, the killer, fled shortly after committing the crime. Two days later, however, he presented himself to the police and his arrest was authorized this Thursday (14).

In a statement to the police, Agnaldo claimed that he acted in “self-defense”, as he thought someone was invading his home. In his home, the weapon used in the crime, a 380 pistol, a shotgun and ammunition were found.

He is being held in the Londrina Public Prison and must be charged with the crime of qualified homicide.
