Family members reported that the man was a drug user and lived on the street; homicide is investigated
Alessandro Henrique Barretos de Souza, aged 25, was found dead late this Sunday afternoon (17), on a dirt road at the back of a farm, in the city of Rio Brilhante, 161 km from Campo Grande.
A witness told the police that he was in the region to fish in a river behind the farm, when he saw a man lying on the dirt road. As she was with her five-year-old son, she took him away and returned to provide assistance.
When he got close to the victim, he found that she was dead and then called the police. The police report states that Alessandro had punctures on his face and neck. Later, forensics found that he was killed with a knife.
Family members reported that Alessandro was a drug user and lived on the street. The case was registered by the Civil Police and remains under investigation in order to find the perpetrator.
