A young couple died in a traffic accident on PR-151, in Ponta Grossa, in Campos Gerais do Paraná, this Saturday (16). Mariana Danilau and William Martins Galvan, both 20 years old, were on a motorcycle and collided head-on with a pickup truck, in a curved area, with a continuous lane.
The force of the impact caused the truck, which was traveling in the opposite direction, to overturn. The driver, aged 59, refused medical attention and the passenger, aged 48, was taken to Santa Casa, with moderate injuries.
According to the aRede portal, the motorcycle caught fire at the time of the collision. Rescue teams from Samu and Siate were at the scene, however, Mariana and William were confirmed dead at the scene.
