“The enemy attacked the country’s energy infrastructure again” between Friday night and today, declared Ukrainian Energy Minister German Galushchenko on the social network Facebook.

The ministerUkrainian ro stated that there was “damage” to energy facilities in the cities of Dnipropetrovsk (central east), Ivano-Frankivsk and Lviv (west).

In a statement, operator DTEK reported that four of its thermal power plants were “severely damaged” by “massive” Russian attacks between Friday night and today.

The Russian Ministry of Defense stated that between Friday night and today they intercepted 68 Ukrainian drones in the Krasnodar region (south) and Crimea.

According to the Russian ministry, 66 of these ‘drones’ were shot down over the Krasnodar Territory and the other two on the Crimean peninsula, annexed by Russia from the Ukrainians in 2014.

“The Ukrainians attempted to attack oil refineries and other infrastructure. According to information on the ground, there are no injuries or serious damage,” declared the governor of the Krasnodar region, Veniamin Kondratyev, on the social network Telegram.

The Ukrainian army has increased its drone attacks on Russian territory in recent months, particularly targeting energy installations.
