The penny took a while to sink in for President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva.
The idea is to create positive agendas to reverse the current scenario. Lula’s interlocutors hope that he understands that it is not only his government that needs to change, but mainly him, who is following a more left-wing discourse, alienating the centrist voters who voted for the PT member in the presidential election.

According to allies, the drop in the polls comes from voters who are not Lula supporters, but anti-Bolsonaro, who voted for him due to the circumstances of the moment and are now moving away.
The heading adjustments have already been defined:
- avoid further increases in food prices if they rise again;
- seek dialogue channels with two groups of voters who are dissatisfied with their government: agribusiness and evangelicals;
- avoid generating ammunition for Bolsonarism to exploit on social media, eroding the image of the President of the Republic.
Lula will seek to travel more around Brazil, especially in this municipal election year, to strengthen the candidates for mayor of his government’s allied base.
