The company Voepass delayed the flight from Fernando de Noronha to Natal by five hours, this Wednesday (20). Customers said they did not receive advance notice of the change, had no support from the company and felt harmed. “My husband is elderly, he has an appointment with a cardiologist, it’s a lack of respect”, said pedagogue Ivana Laemmlin, who lives in Germany.

Ivana also said that her husband, who is German and 72 years old, needs to undergo tests before returning to Europe. They asked to board the Azul flight, which would leave late in the morning for Recife, but their request was not accepted.

Businesswoman Carolina Cabral was also going to the capital of Rio Grande do Norte and was not satisfied with the change in schedule.

“I have commitments at Christmas, meetings and doctors, and I’m going to miss every day because of this. The company also did not provide food and transportation support. If they had given the option of going to Recife with the other company, it would have made our lives easier”, said Carolina Cabral.

Biologist Priscila Medeiros, who lives on the island, would board the same flights as the tourists for Rio Grande do Norte. She stated that the change affected the programming she would do.

“I have little time on the continent; my schedule is affected. We still run the risk of this flight not happening later in the afternoon. This happens frequently”, said Priscila.
