Who are the teachers who died in an accident while returning from work on BR-267, in Juiz de Fora | Wood zone

According to the PRF, the two vehicles collided head-on due to irregular overtaking by one of them. It was not known which of the cars performed the maneuver incorrectly. Four other people were injured.

The three victims were identified as:

• Roberto Costa Neto, 32 years old;
• Drielly Cunha, 26 years old;
• João Fernando Gonçalves de Almeida, 37 years old.

Roberto Costa Neto was driving the car at the time of the accident. He acted as maths teacher and had requested a transfer from Formiga, in the Center-West of MG, to Juiz de Fora, where he worked at the Maria Ilydia Resende Andrade State School.

To the g1the director of the teaching unit, Marinez Miranda, said that he was a very sweet employeewhat always offered rides to other teachers.

“He had been at our school for over three years. He was a very happy person. This little face will be difficult for us to forget,” he said.

Drielly Cunha started working at Escola Estadual Maria Ilydia Resende Andrade in February this year. She went twice a week in the teaching unit.

The young woman was a History teacher, graduated in 2018 from UFJF, and was studying 4⁰ period of the Faculty of Pedagogy.

João Fernando Gonçalves was a Portuguese teacher and was 37 years old. According to the High School coordinator at Escola Estadual Maria Ilydia Resende Andrade, Michelle Bottaro, he was always at the forefront of school projects.

“If we made any different work proposals, he always helped. He was a very dynamic teacher, and happy with our students,” he said.
