The Presidency of the Republic reported that “there may be a new hearing” this Wednesday for the president of the PSD and leader of the AD, Luís Montenegro, after the results of the emigration votes have been determined.
This information was transmitted by an official source from the Palácio de Belém, minutes after Luís Montenegro ended an audience of around 1:40 with Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa.
While the results of eight of the 26 consulates still remain to be known, the results point to Chega electing two deputies – one in Europe and one outside Europe – while the PS will elect Paulo Pisco, head of the list for the Europe circle, and Carlos Gonçalves will be elected by AD in the Outside Europe circle.
