The game for the Algarve Futsal Youth Cup took place at the Pavilhão Municipal de Castro Marim and the home team won 4-1. After the match, at the time of the final greetings, several players from both clubs were involved in clashes, for reasons still unknown.

In the videos that JN had access to, it is possible to see kicks and punches exchanged between the boys, with adults trying to separate them. It is also possible to see from the images that a game delegate ends up being pushed when she tries to separate some of them. There are also fans who jump from the stands onto the field.

Farense’s source confirms that their coach suffered some minor injuries and had to receive hospital treatment. So far, it has not been possible to speak with Castromarinense.

Contacted by JN, the Algarve Football Association (AFA) stated that it “quickly became aware of the events, which it completely repudiates”. “The contempt, which, from what the AFA found, is not related to the Algarve Futsal Youth Cup game”, but “will certainly be analyzed by the Disciplinary Council next week”, added an official AFA source, guaranteeing that “everything will do so, in conjunction with the clubs, and the clubs with the fans, to prevent something similar from happening again”.

JN knows that at least two complaints were filed with the PSP.
