The alleged unveiling of the brutal murder of the then Rio councilor Marielle Franco, PSOL, and her driver Anderson Gomes, six years and ten days ago, throws in the face of almost 220 million Brazilians the brutal reality that this country, in fact, does not It is to be taken seriously.

It throws in the faces of almost 220 million Brazilians the fact that this country is the materialization of the most extreme absurdity.

Looking at the characters who made those murders possible and the consequent difficulty in their investigations – a federal deputy who at the time was a councilor and a colleague of the murdered woman, a counselor at the Court of Auditors and a chief of police -, one can assume that there are complete imbecility on the part of those who argue that we live in a Democratic State of Law.

Democratic State of Law sucks! We live, yes, in a Democratic State of Barbarism. How in a Democratic State of Law could it be this Brazilian Democratic State of Law who murdered Marielle Franco?

As in a Democratic State of Law, it was a federal deputy, Chiquinho Brazão, a councilor at the time of the crime and her colleague on the Rio City Council, who determined her murder

How in a democratic state based on the rule of law was Domingos Brazão, a counselor at the Court of Auditors of the State of Rio de Janeiro, who also determined the murder of Marielle Franco?

How in a Democratic State of Law was it the head of the Civil Police – the armed and legal arm of the Executive Branch – of Rio de Janeiro, Rivaldo Barbosa, who determined the murder of Marielle Franco?

As can be seen, the deputy/councilman, the counselor and the delegate are three high-ranking entities in the Brazilian State. Of the Democratic State of Law or Barbarism.

No, Mr. Ricardo Lewandowski, Minister of Justice and Public Security, “it is not a victory for the Brazilian state, for our country’s security forces in relation to the fight against organized crime”, as you said this Sunday, the 24th.

A victory for the Brazilian state, Minister Lewandowski, it would be if these three militiamen had never been anointed and endorsed by the Democratic Rule of Law. Oh yes!

It would be a victory if these three militiamen, Minister, had never been dressed in the clothes of national public institutions, in the clothes of the Brazilian state and reigned for so long.

So, can you say that this Democratic State should be taken seriously? And see, reader, the reasons why they took the life of the young councilwoman in such a brutal way: Marielle’s mandate would be acting to make it difficult for the Brazão brothers to seize urban land in the city of Rio de Janeiro for the purpose of allotments in partnership with militias .

And yet, there is a lot of suspicion that the action of Marielle’s mandate in the area of popular housing and combating land grabbing by the Brazão brothers has been oversized by an infiltrator in the PSOL paid for by Brazão themselves.

This infiltrator would have produced super-sized information for the Brazão and based on it, they decided to murder the councilor. And this decision-making is made in a pact with delegate Rivaldo Barbosa.

Rivaldo Barbosa gives guarantees to the Brazão that they could order the murder of Marielle, to be carried out by the gunman Ronnie Lessa, and that the investigations would not progress.

To Marielle’s family, Rivaldo Barbosa gave guarantees on the same day of the murder that it would not go unpunished. This all only came to light by Ronnie Lessa himself, in a plea bargain statement.

Despite the supposed relief at the dismantling of the entire plot of this crime, there is, therefore, no trace of a Democratic State of Law in all of this, especially when viewing the profile of the public men involved in it. The Democratic Rule of Law is not only responsible for preserving the right to vote. The greatest asset to be preserved by the Democratic Rule of Law is life.

What does União Brasil decide to expel its federal deputy Chiquinho Brazão? Discounting our daily chronic corruption, how many crimes are currently being committed in this country of continental dimensions by people under the guise of the Democratic Rule of Law, or Barbarism?

Guaranteeing life sentences for these three inmates today does not bring back the lives of Marielle and Anderson Gomes. And more serious than that: it does not guarantee that other acts of serious violence will no longer be perpetrated by those who should combat them.
