Accident between dumpster and truck leaves two people injured in the West Zone of Manaus | Amazon

An accident between a dumpster and a box truck left two people injured, this Monday (25), in Manaus. The collision between the vehicles happened on Avenida do Futuro, around 10am.

According to the Amazonas Military Fire Department (CBMAM), the team was called to remove the victims who were trapped in the wreckage. Upon arrival, the military discovered that the accident occurred as a result of a collision between the box truck and a dumpster.

“Our firefighters worked to extricate two victims, who were trapped in the structure of the box truck. Detailed technical work was required to remove the pair. After being extricated, they received pre-hospital care and were taken to our rescue units to Hospital 28 de Agosto”, said the general commander of CBMAM, colonel Orleilso Muniz.

A team from the Mobile Emergency Care Service (Samu) also helped provide first aid to the two victims.
