Parliamentarians from the government and opposition bases had an argument in the Chamber plenary, on Tuesday (26), after Bolsonaro deputy Éder Mauro (PL-PA) displayed a poster with the image of Domingos Brazão, identified as mastermind of the murder of Marielle Franco, associating him with President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva.

Deputies such as Talíria Petrone and Tarcísio Motta (both from PSOL-RJ) had a harsh argument with the Bolsonarist, who had his poster torn down when he left the pulpit and returned to the plenary. Deputies from other parties removed their colleagues who were in conflict. Faced with the confusion, parliamentarian Gilberto Nascimento (PSD-SP), who was presiding over the session, ended the work. In his speech, Éder Mauro said that Brazão is linked to Lula.

“Whoever ordered Marielle to be killed was linked to the president. I think I see a shirt with Dilma 13 written on it. Given these facts, I want to know where the communists are going to stick their tongues. It’s here, communists, who ordered Marielle to be killed, what are you going to do now? You will have to find another dead person to attribute to Bolsonaro, because this dead person belongs to you”, said the parliamentarian.

Previously, Talíria discussed with deputy Julia Zanatta (PL-SC) during the session of the Constitution and Justice Commission (CCJ) that intended to decide on maintaining the prison of deputy Chiquinho Brazão (União-RJ). Julia Zanatta (PL-SC) stated that government officials “should apologize to the Bolsonaro family for undue associations regarding the murder of Marielle Franco in recent years”. The deputy also recommended that PSOL parliamentarians “stop capitalizing on Marielle’s body”.

A personal friend of the murdered councilwoman, Talíria reacted and said that the Bolsonarist deputy should “wash her mouth” before mentioning Marielle, in addition to calling Zanatta a “fascist”. The deputy challenged Talíria to shut her up. The microphones had to be cut.

Members of the Novo and Republican parties in the CCJ asked to see the report that recommended maintaining the arrest of deputy Chiquinho Brazão (União-RJ). With this, Brazão found time for parliamentarians to analyze the text by Darci de Mattos (PSD-SC).

The request for review is valid for two sessions, starting this Wednesday (27), which prevents the President of the House, Arthur Lira (PP-AL), from taking the vote to the plenary this week. The argument for the request for review was that the text was filed shortly before the start of the session, which prevented a more in-depth study of the accusations and the Federal Police report that supported the decision of the Minister of the Federal Supreme Court (STF) Alexandre de Moraes.

Author of the request for a review, deputy Gilson Marques (Novo-SC) said that the base deputies were “in a hurry” to resolve the issue, which led to a clash with PSOL parliamentarians. Deputies from the party for which Marielle was elected recalled that her family and friends waited for six years for a resolution to the case.
