The body of a man was found in a sugarcane field in the Benedito Bentes 1 neighborhood, in Maceió, this Wednesday (27). The victim had been shot twice in the face with a large-caliber weapon.
A Military Police (PM) team received information about a possible corpse found in the region of a sugarcane field. Upon arriving at the scene, the discovery was made: a male body, of medium height, without initial documentation and around 20 years old.

Subsequently, the victim’s companion arrived at the scene with the deceased’s documentation, reporting that she did not know the reasons that led to the situation and who was responsible for the crime.
The police chief and the team from the Criminalistics Institute (IC), with the responsible expert, also attended the scene, confirming that it was a homicide.
The body was then collected by the Legal Medical Institute (IML) for autopsy examination.
