FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. — Arkansas baseball hosts LSU this weekend for a key three-game series between two teams ranked inside the top-10.
The No. 1 Razorbacks (20-3, 5-1) and No. 7 Tigers (20-6, 2-4) will get things started tonight inside Baum-Walker Stadium. Arkansas is coming off a road series victory over Auburn, while LSU lost two of three games last weekend at home against Florida.

Game 1
Fourth Inning
- LSU hits back-to-back home runs off Hagen Smith, and the Tigers lead 2-1 as we head to the bottom half. Tommy White and Hayden Travinski both left the yard, and the Hogs are all of a sudden behind on the scoreboard.
Third Inning
- Arkansas takes a 1-0 lead into the fourth inning, but it was nearly so much more. Ben McLaughlin came within five feet of a grand slam, but he had to settle for a deep sacrifice fly. The next batter, Jared Sprague-Lott, grounded out with runners on second and third. That’s the second missed opportunity of the night for the Hogs’ cleanup hitter.
- LSU is making a pitching change in the bottom of the third. Arkansas has runners on 1st and 2nd with one out, and the Tigers are summoning Fidel Ullola out of the bullpen. Wehiwa Aloy is at the plate, with Ben McLaughlin on deck in a scoreless game.

- Javen Coleman works a clean inning and we are still scoreless, heading to the top of the third.
- It’s another 1-2-3 inning for Smith, who now had four strikeouts. His fastball is living in the upper 90s, and the slider has been un-hittable.
First Inning
- Arkansas grounds into an inning-ending double play in the bottom of the first after getting runners on the corners with one out. Kendall Diggs was in the on-deck circle after getting pushed down the order today. Tough start to the series for Sprague-Lott.
- Hagen Smith sets LSU down 1-2-3 in the top of the first with a pair of strikeouts. He only needed 12 pitches, and the Hogs are coming to bat against Javen Coleman.
