One person dies and six are injured in a four-car accident in Guarapuava

One man died and six people were injured after an accident between four vehicles on BR-277 in Guarapuava, in the central region of Paraná. According to the Military Police (PM-PR), the crash happened after a car fled the police approach. Understand below.

The accident happened on Thursday night (28).

According to the PM, the team received a report that a man in a vehicle was delivering drugs to a hotel in the city. They then went to the location to check the situation.

According to the PM, when they arrived at the scene, the suspect vehicle tried to flee along BR-277, carrying out dangerous maneuvers.

While escaping, the 28-year-old suspect’s car crashed into a family car. The victim is Ronaldo Jordão, aged 26, who died at the scene. He was with his wife and four-year-old daughter, who were seriously injured.

While still in pursuit, the police vehicle crashed into a pickup truck. Two police officers were slightly injured. The driver and three passengers in the truck were not injured.

The suspect was arrested for murder, according to the PM. He had a fake National Driving License (CNH). Police officers also said that the man has police records for other crimes.

The injured were taken to São Vicente Hospital.
