God of War is one of the big names in the Sony PlayStation Universe, in fact, at a time when exclusivity is no longer what it used to be, we can even go further and say that it is one of the big names in the world of video games.
However, after Ragnarok, no one really knows where Kratos, or Atreus, will go. Or rather, no one really knows when we will be able to play a new game within the God of War series again, be it a title within the main story or a “spin-off”.
Therefore, it is starting to become obvious that a window of opportunity is opening for Sony to take some change from the past… In other words, remake the first game in the saga to see how things go, and later do the same to other games from the series.
There’s a lot to redo, and of course, a lot of money to be made!

Therefore, a very recent publication from the Santa Monica studio seems to have stirred fans’ imagination a little, by rekindling speculation around a return to the past, now in 4K, for Kratos.
It was a “tease” or a “test” that seems to have revealed the fans’ true intentions… There’s even room for a remake!
Can you imagine a return to his origins for Kratos, in a modernized version and with all the grandeur that the PlayStation 5 can offer. It would be really incredible! However, at least for now, Sony has decided to maintain an enigmatic silence on the matter, neither confirming nor denying the rumors of the long-awaited remake.
