PHOENIX, AZ (WFSB) – The overall top seed in the NCAA men’s basketball tournament is back in action on Saturday night.
The University of Connecticut heads to Phoenix to take fourth-seeded Alabama in the Final Four of the NCAA Tournament.
Tip off was slated for 8:49 pm

How they got there
UConn put together a pretty impressive string of double-digit NCAA Tournament game wins that dated back to last season’s run.
Perhaps just as impressive was the 30-0 run the Huskies went on during their Elite Eight game against Illinois on Saturday.
Donovan Clingan finished with 22 points and 10 rebounds in the 77-52 win.
The Huskies pummeled the San Diego State Aztecs in the Sweet 16 on March 28, 82-52.
March 24, they beat 9th-seeded Northwestern University in the round of 32, 75-58.
They opened the tournament with a 91-52 win over Stetson University.
Alabama, meanwhile, put away sixth-seeded Clemson on Saturday night, 89-82.
What’s next
A trip to the championship is on the line.
The winner of UConn/Alabama will take on the winner of No. 1 Purder/No. 11 NC State in Phoenix on April 8.
