This information was revealed by the management of the Cape Verdean Athletics Federation in its communication, explaining that Arianne Morais, 24 years old, really wants to represent the country “in international events from the current season onwards”.

“Naturally, this is very welcome news within the FCA family, given the various short-term challenges on the horizon. Good luck to national athletics and may this moment be the prelude to a fertile year in international medals”, writes the sport’s national federation.

Arianne Morais also has on her CV the title of gold medalist at the 2015 Norwegian under-17 championship in the javelin throw and shot put disciplines, having made her university debut at the University of Florida (USA) during the 2021 season. in the javelin throw category, finishing second with a mark of 55.13 meters.

In its history, it also has the title of winner in the javelin throw with 57.38 meters at the 63rd Annual Mt. SAC Relays and second place with 53.82m in 2023 in the javelin throw at the “Desert Heat Classic” and third place in the 49.19 meter javelin throw event at the “Conference USA Championships”, in 2022.
