Tremor even collapsed buildings in Taipei, according to images posted on social media

247 – A 7.2 magnitude earthquake struck Taipei, the capital of Taiwan, on Wednesday morning (local time), Taiwan’s central climate administration told Reuters news agency.
According to an agency witness, the strong earthquake cut power in several parts of the city. In addition, Taiwanese citizens are posting videos on social media that show buildings collapsing as a result of the earthquake.
