This Tuesday (2), the suspect of having murdered Murilo da Silva Marques20 years old, known as DJ ‘The Hacker’, in Nova Mutum, 269 km from Cuiabá.

DJ’s death
Murilo was at the door of a nightclub where he would perform on the night of the crime. In the security circuit images, it is possible to see the moment when two suspects approach the location on a motorcycle, at 11 pm.
Then, the pillion rider gets down and goes towards Murilo, shooting him around seven times. Hit, the DJ falls to the ground, but the suspect shoots him more times. Then the duo escapes on the motorcycle.
The victim was hit by at least four shotswhich hit the chest, right shoulder and head, as explained by Politec (Official Expertise and Technical Identification).
Arrest of suspects
Soon after the crime was recorded, teams from Derf (Specialized Robbery and Theft Police Station) in Nova Mutum began searching for the suspects, with the hypothesis that the action had been motivated by a dispute between criminal organizations.
One day after the murder, the PRF (Federal Highway Police) arrested a couple for illegal possession of a firearm in the city and took them to the Civil Police station.
As a result, the police suspected that the detained man, aged 29, could be linked to the DJ’s murder, as a revolver with the same characteristics as the crime was found with him during the arrest.
After investigations, the police arrived at the mastermind of the crime, a 19-year-old young man whose identity was not disclosed.
The young man, who lived in Denise, 208 km from Cuiabá, went to Nova Mutum just to kill Murilo, as stated by the delegate Guilherme Pompeowho is in charge of the case.
During interrogation, he confessed that the motivation for the crime it was a dispute between criminal groups and, after killing the victim, he returned to his city and abandoned the motorcycle he used that night.
As police actions continued, it was confirmed that the suspect initially arrested by the PRF was the one who gave the gun to the perpetrator and stole the motorcycle to use in the crime.
