A security camera recorded the moment when Murilo da Silva Marques, known as DJ The Hacker, aged 20, was shot dead outside a nightclub in Nova Mutum last Saturday (30).

The suspected shooter, identified by the initials VHDS, aged 19, was arrested this Tuesday (02), in the city of Denise (209 km from Cuiabá). He would have gone to New Mutum exclusively to carry out the murder.

During interrogation, VHDS confessed to the crime and admitted that he was part of a criminal faction that would rival the faction to which the “victim”, Murilo, was linked. The killer even said that he was threatened by the victim in an exchange of messages.

The images show the moment when a pair on a motorcycle approaches the establishment. The pillion rider gets off the motorcycle, walks towards Murilo and fires shots.

It is possible to see that after the first shots, Murilo falls to the ground, but the killer continues to shoot at him. In total, seven gunshots can be heard.

According to the delegate responsible for the case, Guilherme Pompeo, the motorcycle used to commit the crime was stolen and was abandoned shortly after the execution.

The shooter was arrested while working on a construction site in Denise. He wore an electronic ankle bracelet, but the device had not emitted signals since March.

According to Guilherme Pompeo, the same murderer as Murilo tried to carry out a triple homicide that occurred on March 11th in the city. The crime was also filmed. Two men on a motorcycle, which would be the same one used in the DJ’s murder, approach the victims and fire shots. In this case, the people, all minors, managed to escape.
