The duo formed by one of the most renowned directors of all time and the hottest actor of his generation will be able to tell the story of Frank Sinatra at the movies. So it is! Martin Scorsese is planning to continue its long-standing partnership with Leonardo DiCaprioin one of the most ambitious projects of his career: the biopic of Frank Albert Sinatra (1915-1998)!
The project, however, does not depend exclusively on the New York director’s willingness to 81 years of age and his supporting cast to be performed. In reality, the biographical film still depends on the authorization of the artist’s daughter, Tina Sinatra, to be officially confirmed. Check out:

The story of one of the most important musicians of the first half of the 20th century could be told by one of the main exponents of New Age of Hollywood! In the end, Martin Scorsese intends to direct a biopic about Frank Sinatra, one of the most iconic artists in the history of the music industry. The initiative, however, has not yet been officially confirmed, as it depends on the approval of Tina Sinatra, the singer’s daughter in charge of the copyright on his songs.
Therefore, without Tina’s blessing, the feature film will not be able to feature a soundtrack made up of the singer’s productions, which would make the project, as a whole, completely unfeasible. However, if Scorsese receives the blessing for the production, there will most likely be another collaboration between the filmmaker and his faithful henchman, Leonardo DiCaprio, who is expected to star in the feature film.
Additionally, the film will feature Jennifer Lawrenceaward-winning actress Oscar per “The good side of life”as Ava Gardneractress who acted as the main pivot for the separation between Sinatra and Nancy Barbato and later became the artist’s second wife.

As for the cast and production team, it’s no secret that DiCaprio and Scorsese are one of the most recurring and successful duos in Hollywood. The two even worked together on great classics of recent decades, such as “Shutter Island”, “The Wolf of Wall Street” and, of course, “Killer of the Flower Moon”, the latest collaboration between them and concrete proof that the director is aging like a fine wine.
After all, the last partnership between the filmmakers resulted in a credible project nominated for 10 categories of the Oscars, including the awards for Best Actress (Lily Gladstone), Best Cinematography, Best Direction and many others!

As a result, the Sinatra project continues to be discussed behind the scenes at Hollywood studios, which intend to invest millions of dollars for its distribution rights. In any case, if the film is indeed confirmed, generation Z could be introduced to Sinatra’s story, based on the interpretation of 3 extremely accomplished filmmakers who have won awards from the world’s main cinema institutions, which will probably trigger a film- high quality biographical.
