It was identified as Maysa Ruy Andrade, 20 years old, the young woman found dead on Sunday morning (21) in between to vegetation in the locality of Mosquito Cornerat the interior in Acute. The victim was Natural of Bertioga, in the interior of São Paulobut resided in Santa Maria. Identification was made through fingerprints and through relatives, who did the recognition at the Legal Medical Post (PML) where the body was.
Maysa would have been killed with a shot to the head. The crime is being investigated by Civil policewhich does not inform what the motivation of the murder nor if there is suspects. The hypothesis of femicide is not ruled out.

A delegate Alessandra Padulawhich is ahead of investigationssaid that at the moment it is not possible to give more details about the case, so as not to disturb the investigative work.
The crime
Maysa was found dead by a resident of the locality around 7am on Sunday with injury in shot at head. Two dogs belonging to the victim were also located next to the body, and taken to a animal protection NGO.
Images in security cameras of the region show that, around 5:30 am, one vehicle would have passed by the place. To the images are analyzed by the police.
So far no one has been stuck.
Kitty for burial
Maysa’s family and friends used social media to demand justice for the young woman. They also launched a fundraiser on social media to help pay for the wake and burial expenses, which total R$5,900.
The young woman’s wake begins at 8pm this Tuesday and the burial is scheduled for Wednesday afternoon (24), at the Municipal Ecumenical Cemetery.
