Inês Gemilaki and Bruno Gemilaki Dal Poz killed two elderly people after arriving shooting at a house in Peixoto de Azevedo (MT). Those hit by the shots were part of a group of eight people who were there for lunch.
Mother and son shot “indiscriminately”. They did not give the victims any chance of defense or escape, according to the police.
Three people were hit. Pilson Pereira da Silva, 80 years old, and Rui Luiz Bolgo, 68 years old, died at the scene. In the images, it is possible to see when the woman enters the house and shoots an elderly man who is hiding behind the sofa.
Suspects filed a police report against the owner of the house hours before the crime. The criminals’ target was not hit by the shots, according to delegate Anna Paula Marien. He was injured by some broken glass at the scene.
Inês’ family owed the man debts, police say. “The suspect rented the property from the owner and, upon leaving, left some debts, which led to legal action. From then on, there were several discussions and disagreements between them, which resulted in this barbaric crime.”
