A military police officer died after being involved in a serious traffic accident this Wednesday morning (24). She was in a car with two other colleagues and the suspicion is that they were returning home after work. The vehicle collided with a pickup truck on BR-369, in Cornélio Procópio, in the north of Paraná.
The Federal Highway Police (PRF) blocked the highway to deal with the accident. According to witnesses, the two vehicles collided head-on, but it is still unknown how it all happened. The case is being investigated and the Mobile Emergency Care Service (SAMU) was on site to assist the victims.
The military police officer, identified as Ana Clara, did not survive her injuries. The other two agents were rescued and the first information is that one had a femur injury and the other had an injury to the abdomen. According to the Military Police (PM), at least one of them must be transferred to Londrina.
Accident on BR-369
On Sunday (21), another accident occurred on BR-369, in Santa Mariana, also in the north of the state. A woman died after being run over after saving her daughter. They were returning from an event with family and friends, but ended up staying behind. When trying to cross the highway, the woman realized she wouldn’t have time and warned the young woman. The daughter was not injured, but the mother was hit by a car. The case is being investigated.
