The victim was identified as Fabiana Maia Veras. The woman performed the services in the same place where she lived.

According to the Civil Police, Fabiana was gagged, tied up and with signs of knife cuts on her body. The body was located by a woman who worked alongside the victim.

Security camera footage obtained by the police revealed that a man went to the residence at around 4:40 pm on the day of the crime. The suspect was wearing a mask, prescription glasses and gloves.

Furthermore, in the recording he would have talked to the woman normally, as if he had already met her and then went inside to see the property.

The suspect who appears in the images was arrested on Tuesday night (23) in a nearby neighborhood. Police did not release further information about the arrest.

No belongings from the home were stolen, according to authorities. The police are investigating the case as a homicide.
